Jordanna Davis

Jordanna Davis is the Founder and President of the Rockingstone Group. Before launching the Rockingstone Group in 2016, Jordanna spent seven years as a Principal at the Sachs Policy Group, a boutique health policy firm in New York City. At Sachs, Jordanna consulted with New York’s largest health systems, hospitals, long-term care facilities, human services agencies, unions, health plans and technology companies, helping them adapt to regulatory and market dynamics in the rapidly changing health care system.

Prior to her work in consulting, Jordanna served as the senior health policy advisor to Rhode Island Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, a key member of the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee, during the negotiations for the Affordable Care Act. In addition to work on the Affordable Care Act, she drafted legislation on health information technology, health care quality improvement, reimbursement reform, and graduate medical education. She also served as a Health Care Fellow for Wisconsin Senator Russell Feingold.

She is a Board Member of the New York eHealth Collaborative, New York State’s Health Information Exchange, and Larchmont Temple. She is also a Mentor to the CTA Digital Health Program.

She earned her undergraduate degree at Yale College, and her master’s in public policy, with a concentration in health policy, at Georgetown University. Jordanna lives in New York with her husband and two daughters.

Jacqueline Lampert

Jacqueline Lampert is a Principal with the Rockingstone Group.

Previously, Jacqueline served as a U.S. Senate leadership health policy advisor at the U.S. Senate Democratic Policy Committee (DPC), where she represented then Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) in negotiations to draft and pass the Affordable Care Act.  Before joining the DPC, Jacqueline served as a legislative assistant for Senator Tim Johnson (D-SD).  Jacqueline has previous private sector experience with the integrated payer-provider University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and New York Life Insurance Company.

Jacqueline holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Northwestern University.

Jacqueline lives in Ohio with her husband and two children.

Kate Rose

Kate Rose, an Advisor with the Rockingstone Group, began her career in health care policy as Senior Advisor for Health for Pennsylvania Rep. Allyson Schwartz, a member of the House Ways and Means and Budget Committees. As Health Legislative Assistant for West Virginia Senator John D. Rockefeller, a senior member of the Senate Finance Committee, Kate drafted key portions of the Affordable Care Act concerning health care quality, Medicare payment and coverage, prevention, and health insurance market reforms. Kate left DC for Illinois when Governor Pat Quinn appointed her Special Deputy Director for the team that implemented the Affordable Care Act. She subsequently served as the state’s first director for the Illinois Health Benefits Exchange effort.

Transitioning to the private sector, Kate was hired as Vice President for Government and Community Relations for Montefiore Medicine, managing advocacy, strategy and lobbying for Federal, State, City, and local governments for the hospital and Einstein College of Medicine. She is a founding partner of Welsh Rose LLC, a strategy and advocacy firm in Washington, D.C.

Kate earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from James Madison University in Virginia and a master’s degree in Public Health from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

 

Sara Steines Newstead 

Sara Steines Newstead, an Advisor with the Rockingstone Group, has over a decade of experience in government affairs, policy analysis and design, and health systems transformation. Sara previously served as Executive Director of Population Health Management and Payment Innovation for Children's Hospital and Health System of Wisconsin (CHHS). In this capacity, she assessed, developed. deployed, and measured pilots and programs in population health management and payment innovation across the health system. She served as health policy advisor to former Wisconsin Senator Russell Feingold and as state policy analyst for the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Sara earned her undergraduate degree in English at the College of William and Mary, and her master’s in public policy with a concentration in health policy from Georgetown University. Sara has lectured on the Affordable Care Act and the evolution of health care delivery systems at national conferences, issue forums, and universities. 

 

Hope Glassberg 

Hope Glassberg, an Advisor with the Rockingstone Group, began her career in health policy at the Council of State Governments Justice Center, supporting the Criminal Justice/Mental Health Consensus project, a national, bipartisan effort to improve health and reduce recidivism among individuals with serious mental illnesses. She then worked for several divisions within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services including the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation and the Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services, consistently focusing on state health policy transformation and programs to serve individuals with complex health and social needs.

Hope then transitioned to the health care provider sector, serving as the Director of Public Policy at Montefiore Health System and the Chief Strategy Officer of Sun River Health, New York's largest federally qualified health center system. Hope is the founder and president of Decipher Health Strategies, a health care consulting firm based in New York. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Columbia University and a master's degree from Princeton University's School of Public and International Affairs.

 
 

Allegra Smith

Allegra is an Associate at the Rockingstone Group. Prior to moving to New York, Allegra worked on Capitol Hill on the Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions for U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA). In the Senate, Allegra handled a wide policy portfolio including private insurance; public, maternal, pediatric, and mental health; and drug R&D involving extensive interfacing with hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and patient and workforce advocacy groups. Allegra is currently a Phd Candidate at the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University with a concentration in health policy and management. She holds a BA from Duke University with a double major in U.S. history and political science.
